How it works

Four simple steps from a damaged photograph to a restored, colourised picture you can download and print.

1. Create your account

Sign up with email or Google. Every new account receives 2 free restorations so you can judge the quality before paying anything.

2. Upload or photograph your picture

Drag in a JPG, PNG or WEBP file up to 10 MB, or use your phone camera to take a picture of a print. Lay the print flat, avoid shadows and fill the frame as much as you can.

3. Choose what you need

Repair + Colour fixes damage and adds lifelike colour. Repair only removes scratches, dust and noise while keeping black and white. Colour only adds colour to an image that is already in good condition.

4. Compare, download, keep

Use the before/after slider to check the result, then download the full-resolution file. Your restorations stay in My Photos for 30 days so you can download them again on another device.

Tips for the best results

Scan or photograph at the highest resolution available. Include the whole photograph rather than a crop. If a first attempt is not convincing, try Repair only followed by Colour only — the two-pass approach often works better on very damaged prints.
